Our family-owned business began in 1976 when Becky and Jesse Hill opened the doors to Hill’s Plumbing. Under the direction and leadership of Jesse, the company provided a mix of commercial and residential plumbing repair and installation services.

When his advertisement became the first in the plumbing section of the Yellow Pages in 1981, Jesse began innovating the company through hard work, attention to detail, and respect for his family and customers.

Jesse passed away in 1988 when the Hills’ daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Mark Wethington, purchased the business and changed its name to B & J Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. The “B & J” pays tribute to Becky and Jesse, while “Heating & Air Conditioning” reflected our expansion into other home comfort services.
